PROJECT:

Create a poster advertising Songs for a New World musical.

MY DIRECTION:

Songs for a new World is a theatrical song cycle, or an abstract musical, because of its uncommon show structure. It uses songs from different events, time periods and settings, all connected by a common theme: the moment of decision.

The direction was to show how same night sky has looked over all of these characters as they've made these decisions, no matter what time or place. My imagery also references the idea of fate being "written in the stars".
